Make a Difference on a Committee!

Committees study, develop, debate and make recommendations to the U-46 Board of Education, so to make a direct impact on recommendations, you’ve got to be actively involved in the work. Committee work is so important because it is the collective work of the diverse families, concerns and opinions throughout the district.

Committee involvement typically includes one meeting each month in addition to the general meeting. The general focus of each committee’s work is initially directed by the CAC Executive Committee. The council’s focus this coming year will be to continue supporting the pillars identified in the District Improvement Plan.
