The purpose of this meeting was to inform area realtors of the multitude of programs offered by the district that make U-46 unique. Some of these included Special Education supports and services; Dual Language and gifted programs; the five high school academies; more than 20 Advanced Placement courses available; Career and Technical Education and more.
Parent Group Networking Meeting
In May, 2015 the FACE committee hosted a meeting for elementary school PTA/PTO group representatives at the Poplar Creek Library in Streamwood. The purpose of the meeting was to get these parent groups to an off-district site where they can informally idea-share in a neutral environment. Many excellent ideas were shared and these meetings will continue toward the goal of creating a U-46 parent group network.
